Hi! My name is Tiffani Muller and I’m on the Wellness & Benefits team at Horizon Media.

Horizon Media’s Wow Program is an employee recognition program and in March we had our SuperWow random drawing for a grand prize. Human Resources sent out an office wide email luring everyone to the Dunes with a happy hour to celebrate the winners.

I received the email and remember selecting “tentative” as my response, thinking if I had time, I would go. I ended up attending last minute, standing at the top of the stairs, thinking as HR I should know what the prize was.

Eileen Benwitt, our Chief Talent Officer, my EVP, picked the first winner at random and read off the paper. “Tiffani Muller… oh my goodness, Tiffani Muller!” once she recognized that it was an employee in her department.

It was my worst nightmare and a dream come true walking down those stairs, with half the organization watching; I was terrified!

The grand prize was $3,000 to spend on a customized experience of my own.

It took a few months but I finally decided on what my experience will be: a trip to Disney World and Universal. I’ve never had the chance to explore all of Disney World and I’m the biggest Harry Potter nerd and have always dreamed of going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I’m taking my Mom, sister and niece, and we’re going to hit all the parks!
